Small Weather is stewarded by NTG Consulting LLC. You can browse the work without providing an email.
Optional email interest
If you submit the interest form, we store your email, selected interests, consent version and date, plus a referral source or campaign label, in Cloudflare D1. The list is private to the existing Cloudflare account. We use it for Small Weather contact about your choices and do not share it externally. No automated email campaign is running.
To request removal or ask about your record, contact Small Weather on Bluesky. Existing signups are not silently replaced by repeat submissions.
Private audience counts
We use our existing GoatCounter account to measure page views, browser tab visits, work views and manual play starts. Automatic homepage previews are excluded from play counts. These measurements do not identify exact individual people.
Analytics requests contain the page or work path, event name and a referral hostname or campaign label. We remove full query strings, full referral URLs and screen size. We never send your email to GoatCounter. Like other web requests, the analytics service receives network metadata such as IP address and browser information; its existing settings derive approximate sessions, country, region and browser statistics. The site does not set an analytics cookie. It uses browser tab storage to remember campaign attribution, avoid repeat play/work counts in a tab, and exclude marked tests. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable the site’s analytics requests. Blocking analytics does not block browsing or the interest form.
Cloudflare also provides technical traffic and performance statistics for hosting. Those requests include files, bots and tests, so they are not presented as audience or film-play counts. Our interest endpoint keeps a short-lived request throttle in memory and does not write IP addresses into the signup database.
